As Business Operations Manager, Sam oversees all aspects of the business. Sam’s role is multifaceted and critical in streamlining processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance overall business performance. Her role is integral to the smooth running of the business, working closely with Richard & Hellen. 

Having joined the company in 2002, Sam’s role has evolved significantly — from senior receptionist to managing the company’s IT and serving as EA to the Directors. With a natural aptitude for the commercial side of business, she successfully took on the role of General Manager of the company’s product division, where she was instrumental in driving the growth of external Richard Ward brands. This included overseeing the bestselling Tangle Angel range, distributed in 42 countries, until the product division was sold in 2024.

Sam’s diverse responsibilities have also included managing the company’s online presence, e-commerce, and acting as internal Systems Administrator and Webmaster.

Sam is innovative and forward thinking on behalf of the company, in fact she's our very own 'Rain Man' as her attention to detail, encyclopedic knowledge, and analytical skills make her a vital asset to the company, ensuring that operations run seamlessly. In addition to her corporate responsibilities, Sam is also an active table official in the UK's Super League Basketball!
